About Alexandra

Alexandra Leeper_E5270.jpg

Alexandra Angélique Leeper (Kulwant Kaur) has been walking the path of Kundalini Yoga for over two decades — not as a detour from her life, but as the living center of it.

Certified as a Kundalini teacher in 2005, Alexandra trained directly under Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa — one of the world's most beloved and respected Kundalini teachers — at Golden Bridge Yoga in Los Angeles, one of the most significant Kundalini yoga centers in the Western world.

She reads and chants Kirtan in Gurmukhi, the sacred language of the Sikh scriptures and the linguistic heart of the Kundalini lineage, bringing a rare depth of devotion and authenticity to her teaching.

Alexandra holds a SuperHealth certification in yogic addiction recovery — a specialized training rooted in the work of Yogi Bhajan and used for over four decades to support individuals through recovery from substance dependency, habitual patterns, and the deeper roots of addictive behavior. This certification informs not only her private recovery work but the quality of presence and compassion she brings to every class and circle she holds.

In 2009, Alexandra produced the album Kundalini Meditation Music with Sounds True (one of the world's leading publishers of transformational content) It reached Amazon's Top 100.

The album reflects her deep immersion in the sacred sound current of the lineage and her commitment to making the practice accessible and beautiful.  (Listen on Spotify)

Alexandra is the founder of Living Light Kundalini — a sanctuary for transformation offering the Women's Leadership Kundalini Circle, private sessions, a 40-Day Recovery Program, and destination retreats at sacred sites around the world.

She is also the co-founder of Deep Quest Journeys — a multi-lineage sacred sites retreat business offering four transformational pilgrimages per year to some of the most spiritually alive locations on earth.

As a filmmaker, Alexandra has produced the feature film Awaken and spent three years producing Yogis of Ukraine — a documentary about 350+ Ukrainian yogis who used Kundalini practice to survive and heal during Russia's full-scale invasion. The film is in final post-production and entering its international festival run.

Alexandra teaches from the inside out — from twenty years of daily sadhana, personal transformation, and the hard-won wisdom of having traveled through some of the darkest personal spaces a human being can navigate. She does not teach from a place of having arrived somewhere perfect.

She teaches from the living experience of the practice itself — what it actually does, in the body and the life, when everything else falls away. And from an unwavering belief that the light each of us carries is not a destination to reach but a reality to inhabit, right now, exactly as we are.
